If you wish to use the British Library’s resources, please seek advice from your Faculty Librarian and check the information for visitors, particularly the instructions about registering for a reader's pass.
Many books can be borrowed through our Request a Resource Service, either from the British Library or from other UK libraries.
If you are joining another library, they may wish to see your Lancaster University card. If you are a distance learner and do not have one, please email the Registry at recordsenquiries@lancaster.ac.uk with your student ID number and a photo. Please also make sure the Registry has your current address for posting your card.
