LibAnswers: Library answers

All items on loan that are not subject to recall will be automatically renewed every 5 weeks. A courtesy email will be sent to notify the user of this on a monthly basis. Loans can be checked by accessing 'My Account' in OneSearch or through the iLancaster app

Alumni and other Community Members can renew books in OneSearch by logging into their account.

If an item has been recalled please contact the Library as soon as possible.  If you have a genuine reason for not returning Library materials, we may be able to take this into account.

If an book or item on your account is recalled and is overdue, your account will be blocked. This would mean that:

• other loans on your account will not automatically renew,
• you will not be able to loan new items,
• you will not be able to request items that have been borrowed by other library users.
